Philippians 2:6 “Who, being in the very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped . . .” We naturally want to be in control, and rebel against God’s leading. I call this unhealthy mindset, “The Little-g-god-Complex” where we try to take control of everything and everyone in our lives. We do this to try to make sense of the messiness of this world. Over times, this little-g mindset drives us to a dark place of frustration, bitterness, and anger, damaging and destroying all our relationships.
